How to call the UK from the US

If you’re calling a mobile number in the UK, you’ll need to add a 7 after the area code.
Does the number have a trunk code?
A trunk code is a prefix added for domestic calls – you won’t need to dial it when calling internationally.

2. Dial country code

The United Kingdom’s country code is 44.

3. Add area code

4. Add a 7

To call a mobile number, you need to add a 7 after the area code.
