In today’s world, we know that scammers often try to impersonate legitimate companies recruiting for positions to trick people into disclosing their personal information. To help you understand our recruiting process and avoid scammers, we are providing our recruiting commitment to you:
- In most cases, we post all job openings on our careers website. If you are contacted by someone who claims they are recruiting for a GoTo position, or if you find a GoTo job on a third-party job board, you can always check our careers website to make sure that the position you are interested in is posted there as well.
- We may advertise open position on job boards and LinkedIn and will occasionally contact potential candidates over professional networking sites such as LinkedIn. We also may promote available jobs at GoTo on our official social media channels. In each case, we will include a link to the position as posted on our careers website. We will not directly contact you for a position with GoTo over personal social media messaging channels such as Messenger, Snapchat, or WhatsApp. In addition, we also do not reach out to potential candidates via text messaging unless they have applied to a position and would like to be contacted by text.
- We will never offer to send you money, or ask you to send us money, during the recruiting process.
- We will never ask you to provide us with your sensitive personal information, such as your social security number or your credit report, over email, through social media messaging services, or over the phone. We only obtain sensitive information in accordance with the applicable laws and via official, secured means. We will never ask you for a credit card number.
