GoToConnect Celebrates Another Major Milestone

A lot has happened since we launchedGoToConnect in March 2019. As the impact of the pandemic circled the globe, organizations of every description scrambled to adapt. They put pedals to the metal on digital transformations to gain desperately needed agility and send employees home to work — where many remain.

At launch, GoToConnect immediately took off as the cloud calling, meetings, and messages solution that was accessible and easy to use. But in 2020, there was a new sense of urgency to step up and solve our customers’ remote business problems — and fast! With industry leading reliability and security, our work from anywhere bundles did just that. Remote tools are the heart of our business, and while LogMeIn employees were also learning how to work from home full-time, we worked around the clock to make sure our product was the perfect tool for business continuity but also business success.

After what may be the most transformational year of our lives, we are proud that one million users relied on GoToConnect.

Bringing People Together in Challenging Times

GoToConnect provides a lifeline to organizations, allowing employees and those they serve to collaborate with the same reliability as conventional office systems, but with extra value and functionality.

It replaces cumbersome landlines and infrastructure, while adding the flexibility needed to quickly add large numbers of users and adjust to changing needs. 

Our higher education customer recently shared that pandemic-imposed lockdown orders led to a surge of calls that “would have overwhelmed our traditional PBX phone system.” GoToConnect made all the difference for a beleaguered staff and concerned students and parents. “People calling us could still reach us without interruption,” our customer said.

As we’ve added users and their needs have changed, we’ve grown right along with them.

Starting with cloud phone and video conferencing capabilities at launch, GoToConnect has added Microsoft Teams integration, an updated mobile app, accessible tiered pricing, a unified admin experience, a robust contact center — and most recently — enhanced outbound calling capabilities that are changing the sales game.

As we celebrate the milestone of one million users, we continue to look toward future updates designed for an evolving workforce. And with an increasing preference toward a hybrid model, remote-work products are here to stay. Here’s to the next million and a bright future of flexible work!
