We Were Included In Two Gartner Magic Quadrants - What does that mean?

For the first time in LogMeIn’s history, we’re in two Gartner Magic Quadrants in the same year and we couldn't be more excited! Earlier in August we were placed as a Challenger in Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Worldwide. Today, we’re thrilled to announce we were once again named a Leader in Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions!

So what is this all about? Well Gartner, one of the world’s leading research and advisory companies, uses their Magic Quadrants to position vendors within a specific market across two key axes - ability to execute and completeness of vision.

To the casual observer, inclusion in two Magic Quadrants may seem strange. How can we be a recognized vendor in two different areas? Well it doesn’t mean we’re confused or unfocused, we believe, it’s because the communication and collaboration space is growing and changing every day and we are evolving with it. Let’s talk about each of these placements, what they mean to us and how they align with our unified communications and collaboration (UCC) strategy.

We’re thrilled and proud to be called a Challenger in the 2019 Magic Quadrant for UCaaS, Worldwide in the first year in the UcaaS space. We believe we’ve challenged the status quo from the beginning - and we’ll continue to do so!

2019 Is the First Year LogMeIn Has Been Included in the Gartner UCaaS, Worldwide Magic Quadrant

GoToConnect, the company’s industry leading integrated UCC solution, was introduced just a year after the 2018 acquisition of Jive Communications, Inc. GoToConnect is a fully-integrated application for workers to easily connect and communicate – both internally and externally – via a web browser or an app. GoToConnect brings together the power and reliability of GoToMeeting and Jive to provide users with professional web, audio and video conferencing, presence, VoIP calling, SMS/text messaging, visual voicemail and more all in one application.

LogMeIn Named A Leader Once Again in the Meeting Solutions Magic Quadrant

As for the Meeting Solutions Magic Quadrant, well we’re no stranger to this Magic Quadrant and we have once again been named a Leader! Our bread and butter is the meeting space and we are thrilled to be recognized within the Leaders Quadrant again in 2019.

According to Gartner, “Leaders have achieved significant influence and market share relative to their competitors in the meeting solutions market, while demonstrating an ability to respond to customers' needs. Leaders have robust, scalable meeting solutions with a wide range of features to satisfy all meeting scenarios, a large installed base, acceptable financial performance and good distribution. Leaders are doing well today and are prepared for the future."*

We are extremely proud to continue to be a Magic Quadrant Leader year after year and with some big things coming soon, we believe this is only the beginning!
