Jive was busy last week, racking up several awards that ranked us among industry leaders across the nation. Comparably—a compensation, culture, and career-monitoring website—partnered with USA Today and Business Insider to publish several “best of lists.” Jive found itself on many of these lists, including “Best CEO,” “Best 50 Large Companies for Women,” and “Best Large Companies to Work For.”
Best CEOs
Jive’s company leader, John Pope, was on Comparably’s Best CEO list. To get on the list, Comparably asked employees from over 30,000 companies how they’d rate their CEOs. Three million employee ratings later, Comparably assembled a list of rock star CEOs. Marc Benioff (SalesForce),Brian Halligan (HubSpot), and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) were among those who snagged the top slots for large companies (500+ employees). Pope wasn’t just on the list. Jive’s CEO John Pope ranked among the top ten, coming in at #6. This is an impressive year for Pope, as he was also named one of Utah Business’s Forty Under 40.
Best 50 Large Companies for Women
Recent scandals have exposed where many industries have failed women in the workplace, particularly the tech industry. That’s why it’s more important than ever to recognize companies that establish an environment where women thrive. In Comparably’s “Best 50 Large Companies for Women,” female employees at Jive Communications gave the company an overall A+ rating. This placed Jive in first place ahead of its competitors in the Hosted and Unified Communications industry. Of course, ranking first doesn’t mean Jive is perfect—just that we’re committed to making work a better place for women.

Comparably questioned employees in detail about their companies’ benefits, effective meetings, mentorship, and much more. Jive came in 20th among the top 50 best large companies like Google and LinkedIn.
