We know the people you work with aren’t limited to those within the four walls of your office building. Your team, clients, prospects and other partners probably span the globe and the family of GoTo products makes it easy to collaborate with them all. Because we know you very likely have international team members, customers or prospects we want to make sure you know how we at LogMeIn are participating in the EU-U.S. and Swiss Privacy Shield Frameworks and are compliant with current applicable European Union data protection rules. The upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that goes into effect on May 25, 2018 holds us to this commitment even more so. Our team has been working hard to ensure our products are GDPR ready, thus protecting the personal data of our customers and their end-users.  In the spirit of knowledge sharing and transparency, we’re pleased to share with you the new LogMeIn GDPR Readiness Center. Here, you will find a number of resources to answer your questions about how LogMeIn is approaching GDPR readiness, including:

  • An overview of how we are working to meet GDPR compliance
  • Security and Privacy Organizational Controls (SPOCs) for GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToTraining and GoToStage that describe in detail the overall security and privacy controls that are being put into place in order to protect customers critical data and processes
  • A general overview of what GDPR is and how LogMeIn is meeting relevant GDPR requirements
  • Frequently asked questions

We’ve also updated our Data Processing Agreement to ensure that we have appropriate legal transfer mechanisms in place in support of GDPR.

We recognize the importance and complexity that regulations like the GDPR pose to our customers. This resource center will provide some of the basic tools and documentation needed to understand how LogMeIn is approaching this initiative, as well as data security and privacy, as a whole.  We will continue to update the Readiness Center with new resources, as well as provide updates to existing resources, as they become available.  Please check back often or sign up for the RSS feed for real-time updates.
