Having recently invested in GoToRoom from LogMeIn to connect its 11 global offices and enable room-to-room videoconferences, Allocate Software needed to expand its capabilities when Covid-19 forced wholesale remote working. The Human Capital Management software specialist was keen to connect its videoconferencing technology to Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other software being used by its widely dispersed staff and customers. It approached Datasharp Integrated Communications – a leading unified communications technology specialist and LogMeIn partner – for a solution.

Datasharp Integrated Communications introduced BlueJeans CVI Gateway, a cloud-based video interoperability solution, which allowed the GoToRoom system to connect seamlessly and securely with Microsoft Teams and other videoconferencing platforms used by Allocate Software staff, partners and customers.

Nicola Woodman, Director of Business Systems and Internal IT at Allocate Software, says: “As a technology business, customers expect to be able to connect with us easily. Different customers have different preferred technologies, so being able plug in to whatever software they used was vital to the continued running of our business. Thanks to the expertise of Datasharp Integrated Communications and the versatility of GoTo products, we can now continue inter-office meetings and customer collaboration via high-quality remote videoconferencing.”
