In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, particularly in the technology industry. As a result, we are very happy to see that there are now a number of awards and recognition programs that celebrate women who are making significant contributions to the business. One such award is the Women of the Channel award, presented by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company. We have no shortage of amazing women here at GoTo and this year we couldn’t be more excited to announce that eight women from GoTo hailing from Australia, Europe, and the United States have been recognized!

GoTo’s CRN 2023 Women of the Channel honorees are a remarkable group of women who bring their creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to a variety of roles and responsibilities across the company. Whether they work in marketing or sales, our ladies all share a common goal of driving success for our partners and customers.

To learn a bit more about each of our winners, we asked them about their proudest moment of the last year and what was their current “GoTo” way to celebrate this recognition! Check out their answers below:

Vanessa D’Angelo, Head of Marketing for Latin America- Partners

Vanessa’s proudest moment of the past year: “Since we had to face the Covid-19 pandemic we had to learn how to manage everything. I’m proud of everything our company and my team have achieved. Everything that I did it was possible because I work for a great company, with an awesome team and have wonderful daughters. Without them nothing would make sense.”

How Vanessa will celebrate this recognition: “To keep working very motivated, better every day, improving my skills as a professional and a human being, as a mother and a woman, so I will be able to be a better person, friend, colleague and employee. This is my way of giving back all the great energy that I´ve been receiving from everyone!”

How Yvette will celebrate this recognition:"Spending face-to-face time with the team and celebrating with some fun activities like Mini Golf, Bowling, sharing a meal and having a few drinks, really acknowledging the massive efforts that the team has made and simply Cheers’ing to that – team camaraderie at it’s best!"

Nicci McKenzie, Director of Partner Marketing, EMEA
