A few weeks ago, GoTo’s sales and marketing teams traveled to Orlando, FL for InfoComm, the biggest audiovisual event in North America. Boasting over 40,000 attendees from 110 countries every year, InfoComm is the place to be if you're in the market for an A/V or UCC solution – and it definitely lives up to the hype.
Our initial impressions as a first-time exhibitor? All we can say is, “Wow!” Between new feature rollouts, partnership announcements and product demos, it was an action-packed week – but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our customers, partners, and everyone else who expressed interest in the GoTo portfolio made it an incredibly enjoyable experience. Highlight: New Partnerships
To kick things off on Wednesday morning, we announced GoToRoom's partnership with Dolby. The newest of its kind, this collaboration bundle brings GoToRoom’s fast, easy-to-use, reliable software together with Dolby’s award-winning hardware for an immersive meeting experience. Starting this summer, customers will have the option to further enhance their GoToRoom sessions with intelligent features like background noise elimination, attendee framing, whiteboard view and crystal-clear audio.
Highlight: New Feature Rollouts
For those happy with their existing conference room hardware, we were excited to talk about the launch of SIP for InRoom Link! Similar to the H.323 protocol, rooms enabled with SIP can now join a GoToMeeting simply by entering a code generated by the meeting invite. This has been one of the most frequently requested features specific to our room solutions, and the release was a team win that breathed new life into the conversation around BYOD.
Highlight: Product Demos
As it turns out, inquiring minds really do want to know. InfoComm gave us the opportunity to demo our two newest products, GoToRoom and GoToConnect, both of which were huge hits with customers and prospects alike. There were many times when all of our booth staff were giving demos simultaneously – in both English and in Español!
