Fenway Park

The Boston Red Sox (MLB) have played their home games at Fenway since 1912.

Fisk Waves It Fair (1975)

Although the Red Sox didn't go on to win the title, Carlton's Fisk home run to force a Game 7 in the 1975 World Series is iconic. Even today, players still imitate his "wave it fair" gesture.

The Bucky Dent Home Run (1978)

Despite spending so much of the summer atop the AL East division, Dent's unlikely blast in the 1978 tiebreaker game propelled the New York Yankees into the playoffs. The Red Sox finished with 99 wins, more than the franchise has won in any regular season since then.

David Ortiz's Walk-off Two-Run Homer (2004)

To finally break the "Curse of the Bambino" after 86 years without a World Series title, the Red Sox first needed to get past the rival Yankees. After falling behind 3-0 in the 2004 American League Championship Series, Ortiz ignited an unprecedented comeback with this extra-inning walk-off in Game 4.
