All you need to know on Topsail Island.
The 26-mile long island consists of North Topsail, Topsail beach, and Surf City. A wide variety of activities can be found all along the island as well as on the mainland.
Hotels can be found on the mainland, but when it comes to staying on the island you'll have to find a rental vacation home. Have no fear- this website is great and makes the task far less daunting than it sounds.
Free attractions: go fishing on the Surf City Pier go take a stroll under it. This is one of the most iconic parts of Topsail. Gorgeous pictures can be taken at sunrise under the pier.
I've also heard it is a very romantic spot..great for proposals ;)
While you're taking a stroll on the beach, make a game of it for your kids. Free printable shell guides can be found here.
Topsail beaches are covered in tons of shells especially first thing in the morning!
A sea turtle hospital, rescue and rehabilitation center dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick and injured sea turtles.
Mom, want a shopping break from the beach? Check out Bumblebee. They have very trendy finds and awesome gifts to bring home as souvenirs for the family.
Right next to Bumblebee. Stop in for an ice cream sandwich. They're handmade right in front of you.
Little tip- if you're going for the ice cream sandwich, share one, they're HUGE.
An island favorite. Locals love Max's Pizza.
Still want more fun vacation pictures? The alligator mouth entrance to Wave gift shop is an iconic photo op.
