Foundation Powder

You can make your own foundation powder through a little trial and error by mixing 1 teaspoon (for dark skin) to 1 tablespoon (for light skin) with one, or a combo, of the following: cocoa powder, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Add little amounts until you reach the correct hue for your skintone.

Gel Eyeliner

Use your desired shade of eye shadow and mix in eye primer until smooth. Melt a small amount of coconut oil (2-5 drops will be more than enough) and add to mixture. Mix more and apply with makeup brush.

Mix 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder and 2 teaspoon arrowroot powder. Add in 15 drops of essential oil (if a pressed powder is desired). Rosemary or lavender work best. Leave out oil if you want a loose powder.

In a saucepan over low/medium heat, melt 1 teaspoon (4-5 capsules) of activated charcoal, 1/8 teaspoon bladderwrack powder (seaweed), 1/8 teaspoon vitamin E, 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 teaspoon beeswax and 1 ¾ teaspoon castor oil. Let cool slightly, pour into plastic baggy, cut off corner and squish into mascara tube. Let sit 60 minutes before use.

Eye Shadow

In a small bowl, add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of arrowroot powder (the more you use the lighter the resulting color). In any combination, add any of the following: cocoa powder, nutmeg, beetroot powder, tumeric, allspice. Once your desired color is mixed well, add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of shea butter, using the back of a spoon to mix it into the powder until you have a creamy powder.
