The Temple of Kukulcan or "El Castillo" is the step-pyramid that dominates the city of Chichen Itza. It is 30 m (98 ft) high (including the temple).

The city has a lot of fascinating ruins clustered together. It was conquered by the Spanish in the 16th Century.
The Temple of the Warriors is yet another amazing feature that can be found at Chichen Itza. Mayan warfare often revolved around capturing people.

The Jaguar Throne can be found inside the step-pyramid ("El Castillo"). The pyramid was a temple to Kukulkan (a Feathered Serpent deity).
