Our Visit to Colonial Williamsburg

We visited Colonial Williamsburg in October 2014 and it was loads of fun for the parents and for the kids. You can learn so much about what life was like during that time... from all different perspectives. The street performances are well-acted and the historical shops are a great way to learn about daily life during the colonial days.

Colonial Williamsburg Overview

The Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg stretches over 301 acres, and includes 88 original 18th-century structures. Hundreds of houses, shops and public outbuildings are reconstructed on their original foundations and many buildings are open to the public. There are many activities for kids of all age ranges.
