Unbreakable because...

Sacrifice bunts have gradually been eliminated from MLB offenses in recent seasons. The average number of sacrifices per game in 2016 (0.21) was less than half the 1979 average (0.45). They're also used more frequently in the National League than in the American League, and the Astros moved to the AL in 2013.

Run scoring across MLB reached an all-time high during the 2000 season (5.14 runs per game). Even then, Lima's total was easily the worst in the big leagues. Hemorrhaging runs like that in today's game would quickly cause a pitcher to be removed from the starting rotation, denying him the opportunity to come anywhere close to 145.

Biggio's durability was extraordinary (100-plus games played in each of his 19 full Astros seasons). Taking a hit by pitch always comes with an injury risk and he was fortunate to have avoided the disabled list while repeatedly putting himself in harm's way.
