Personal fave: park on the frontage road by the City Market for free (avoid the overpriced garage), and walk over to the Northside Cafe Grab N Go in West Vail. Pick up a HUGE breakfast burrito for $5, then hop on the free shuttle bus into town to hit the slopes. Prepare for the bus to be packed with locals, especially if it's a powder day.
