This week we sent a group of LogMeIn’s finest to meet with customers at Google Cloud Next in San Francisco. We met some truly passionate GoToMeeting users at our booth, so we’d first like to say a big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about our partnership!
We deeply value our partnership with Google and how it adds value and streamlines productivity for our users. We were thrilled to see that Google is building up the momentum behind their partner integrations with Google Cloud Platform, G Suite, and Google Voice in the Enterprise. We also had the opportunity to showcase our latest collaboration with Google at a breakout session! Our Lead Architect Nikolay Avrionov shared how GoToMeeting uses Google speech-to-text technology for our Smart Meeting Assistant transcription services. Nikolay shared that after evaluating several solutions in the market, our team decided to partner with Google as it had the best transcription results and fewest content errors.
This transcription feature provides our users a much easier way to record, review and share what happened in a meeting after it’s ended. So users can worry less about taking notes, and focus on what’s really important in the moment. It’s available to all Pro and Plus users who have activated cloud recordings.
This speech-to-text collaboration is relatively new, but we’ve been a long-term Google partner. We’re consistently updating our online meeting software to work seamlessly on Google Chrome browsers and on Chromebooks, and our Chrome extension allows GoToMeeting users to start a meeting directly from a Chrome browser. We’ll continue to work together to improve our integrations with Google APIs and voice-to-text services, and ensure this partnership enhances collaboration for our users across the board.
